Q:   This is more of a statement. I was listening to KISS 108 this morning and you were on talking about the fundraiser you have for Diabetes. I just want to let you know how great that it is. My son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes) when he was only 2. He is now 4 years old and he is on an Insulin Pump, we made the switch from needles (he was up to 10 needles a day) to the Pump in December and his A1c (blood glucose levels over a 3 month period) Levels have been much better. This disease is a lot of work, especially taking care of two year old with it. A lot of people don't know how much work it is. I didn't either until my son was diagnosed. Thanks for your help in raising money for Diabetes.
      Karen - Cambridge, MA
A:   Thanks so much I appreciate that. Hopefully you will be able to make it out to the event this year.
Q:   Vince I am a season ticket holder and last year was the best and worst year ever. I am sure you feel the same way. I just wanna ask you I hear you are an avid outdoorsman, so what you think about the new BassProShop? I love it and go almost once a week...See you there!
      Keith - Dedham, MA
A:   Its great out there. I have been to a couple of them in florida but it is nice to have one close by.
Q:   are u still going to have your annual draft day fundraiser this year?
      mike - mansfield, ma
A:   Yes we are tickets are on sale right now you can purchase them by going to pinzbowl.com. Hope to see you there.
Q:   Hey Vince, first of all, you are a stud at your position, and one of the best NT I have seen in a 3-4 system. Been a pats fan since birth, was born into it. Quick question which I understand if you dont answer. How has this spygate nonsense affected you and the players on the team. It seems that my team that I love dearly and its players are being bashed every where I look. Its killing me, so it has to be tough there. Any inside on how its being handled would be great. God Bless you man, you are one of a kind.
      John - Burleson, Tx
A:   You know I honestly believe that if we were 0-18 no one would care about anything going on with our team. It is just the nature of the business and really life. When you are doing good everyone wants to find faults. We just rally together as a team and move forward.
Q:   yo vince, my desktop backround is you attempting to stiff arm cotchery last year, how did you let him tackle you. i was at that game hoping to see your td dance.
      chris - , CT
A:   Man I was hoping to get my first touchdown in my nfl career. Maybe in the future.
Q:   I know your current deal is up after the 2009 season. Working towards an extension, have you given consideration to taking less money from the Pats in order to allow the team to sign other players needed to win Championships, as Tedy, Tom, and Randy have done?
      Wandering Athol - Albuquerque, MA
A:   Who knows what will happen when my contract is up. Right now I just focus on playing and contributing to the best of my ability. I love it here and hope to be here until I retire.
Q:   Hey Vince! Congrats on an almost perfect year and the probowl vote. You deserve it. My wife and I got to cheer and smile for 18 straight games. Its hard to complain about that. It IS hard living in NY right now but we are looking forward to another New England championship soon. Go Pats 2008!
      Jason K - Ronkonkoma, NY
A:   Thanks so much. But it is life all you can do is move forward and try to work harder next year.
Q:   I attended your Draft Party at PinZ last year and wonder if you are going to have that event this year. I had a great time and it was for a very worthy cause, and I don't want to be left out this year.
      Howard Weiss - Randolph, MA
A:   No problem I am so glad you enjoyed yourself last year. We are having the event again this year at the same location and we hope to exceed last years event. Tickets are on sale right now at PINZBOWL.com
Q:   Hi Vince: I'm very happy for the season you had, I hope you guys come back strong again for the next season. We wish you the best from Miami. God bless you and your family.
      Dagmar - Miami, FL
A:   Thanks so much I appreciate the support.
Q:   HEy Vince, What will you do will yourself from now until Mini camp??
      Russ Cole - Sandwich, MA
A:   I am enjoying time with my family and starting my individual off season program. Then I will begin off season work outs with the team in April.
Q:   Hey Vince,I would like to know what did you do to better yourself while making the transition from highschool to college football,im kinda making the transition at the same position aswell and I would love to have some tips from the best.
NT Christopher Chin - Queens, NY
A:   I just made sure that I stayed in shape and kept myself fresh.
Q:   Hey man, congratulations on the pro bowl, now Ty Warren needs to be recognized. I also wanted to congratulate you on the amazing season, I know its not how everyone wanted the season to finish, but it was still a season for the ages. Was there a lot of pressure from the media? Thanks man and god bless.
      Tyler G - , ME
A:   Ty definitly needs to get his props. He is a great player and is a important part of his team. I would of loved for him to be in Hawaii with me. The media does what it does I know they have a job to do and so do we.
Q:   You are a great inspiration to me! We had the same Geometry class with Mrs. Gomez back in Santaluces High. It's wonderful to see how you have prospered by working your tail off to eventually play for my favorite NFL team. You give me hope as I constantly work for my dreams. And my question is, Do you have any other hobbies other than football? Like, producing music or acting? Peace and prosperity.
      Dave A - Rayne, LA
A:   Whats your last name? Want to try to remember you. Thanks so much for the support. I try to keep focused and pushing forward no matter what happens. I personally love to fish. I also have been learning and not doing too bad with Golf. I would love to act. My dream is to work with Denzel and my wife has been dabbing in the music business with some family members that rap and produce.
Q:   great job all season, good luck next year
      Dan - Boston, MA
A:   Thanks so much for the support.
Q:   Hey vince, I have a feeling most of the pats probably think no body knows how it feels to go 18-0 and then loose in the super bowl. But I actually have felt soft of like that. I run cross country and last year my team was ranked #1 in massachusetts. We easily swept all of our opponents with out almost never even needing to use all of our varsity starters. We were undefeated and people always hated on use saying we were overrated and that we were gonna choke. we won our league champion ship. went to eastern mass championship, we won that too. then we went to the state meet where we were HUGE favorites. we didn't just loose, we got 3rd and totally choked. It was an extremely crappy feeling, and it just sucks. We lost 2 our our 5 runners going into the next season. But it was not going to phase us. This year we went undefeated AGAIN, but this time we won the state meet and became ranked #5 in the nation! so don't let this one season hurt super bowls dreams, bad things happen but seasons are done every year for a reason. nothing stays the same. You can improve on this season by winning the super bowl. undefeated of not. as my XC team proved, no matter how much the previous season hurt. I wish u and your teammates that best
      Bobby B. - Boston, MA
A:   Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me your story. Life is never perfect but you always have to keep moving forward and not give up. Thanks so much for your email.
Q:   Hey Vince!! i met you today at the providence place mall thanks for coming out it was really cool to meet you. My next door neighbor knows your friend Obi who lives in Waltham Ma kinda cool anyways i just wanted to know whats it like being a professional athelete?
Jason Carroll - Brockton , Ma
A:   Thanks OBI is my man, he is a good friend of mine. Its cool to be a pro athelete but just like any thing else in life it has it's up and downs. But it is a blessing either way and I am grateful for it.
Q:   I am not asking you any questions. I'm just a fan and I want to wish you good luck for the next season. I hope you will get an other perfect season and win the Superbowl.
Erik Laforce - Montreal, Country: Canada
A:   Perfect seasons are nice but all that matters is winning the big game. Thanks so much for your support,.
Q:   What's up Vince? Great season! Any word on the draft day party this year? Will it be at Pinz in Milford? Last year was a blast, looking forward to it again.
      Jamie Patterson - Uxbridge, Ma
A:   Yes we are getting the ball moving on it. Tickets are actually on sale right now at pinzbowl.com hope you make it out there this year. Get your tickets early they are going fast.
Q:   Were you able to still have fun at the Probowl? How do you take a terrible loss and bounce back? After the superbowl I couldn't even sleep, so it must have been super hard on you! What did the coach say after the game? Best of luck in the off-season! -Bill
      Bill Davis - Plymouth, Ma
A:   To be honest with you Pro Bowl really helped me out a lot. I think if I had to come back here and see the media and everything else it would have been a lot worse.
Q:   Hey Vince, Whats Up Big Daddy! Do you know if they will be selling a Replica of your Pro Bowl Jersey? Looking forward to this years draft party. Go Canes! Randy put together an awesome recruiting class this year. Take Care.
      Ed Reynolds - Providence, RI
A:   I will be auctioning off a pro bowl jersey at my draft day event. I do not know that reebok will be selling them. But you should email them to let them know there is an interest and maybe they will do it.
Q:   wow, I knew you were coming here after I saw an interview while you were still at "Tha U". I said to my friends, this guy is a total patriot-type player, 2 years later we drafted you & they thought I was some sort of football genius. "Nope, I just know a good person when I see one!" Best wishes this offseason man!
      joey box - braintree, MA
A:   lol Thanks man for the early support,
Q:   who were your idols and role models as far as athletes go when you were growing up? Who or what inspired you to wear #75?
      Brian - Scarborough, Maine
A:   I was a huge Buffalo Bill fan as well as a Celtics fan growing up. Most of those guys I can really say I looked up to. My father wore number 75 when he played ball. I wore that number my entire life.
Q:   Whats good big V. Man me and Tony Stubbs was just talkin about u. Congrats on the pro bowl. I use to hate goin againts you in high school. I see Lake Worth finally won againts ya high school. after 18 years. I hope all is well and good luck in the pro bowl. Forget those haters down here. Like u said you can't live the next mans life. God bless
Joe Pierre - Boynton Beach, FL
A:   Thanks dude. How you been send me a email at fans@vincewilfork75.com. Let me know whats been good with ya
Q:   Hey Vince, I just want to let you know that you and the rest of the D-Line played your butts off in the Super Bowl and it is much appreciated. It was a tough loss, but you guys up front couldn't have done anything different to win that game. I'm going to Atlantis, Bahamas later this month, any advice on what to do?
      Lino Viola - Boston, MA
A:   You may already be in Atlantis by the time you get this sorry for the delay. Atlantis is great for fishing and my wife loves eating at a place called Cafe Johnie Canoe. I also like to eat at the Poop Deck. Enjoy your trip.
Q:   Hi Vince. I'm the guy that asked to shake your hand on the flight from Phoenix to LAX yesterday. Sorry you ended up in the back row! I told you I was proud of you, and I meant it. And I want to tell you something else: seeing your positive attitude and smile really meant alot to me! I am hurting after the loss, but seeing that you are handling things well tells me that I should do the same. I hope you enjoy Hawaii and best always.
David Suraski - Hong Kong, HK
A:   No problem thanks for taking the time to write me and let me know that. I hope you enjoyed your flight to Hong Kong I believe that was where you were going.
Q:   We know you played your heart out during the championship game - losing was tough on us fans but I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for the players. How are you coping with coming so close to the perfect season and with not winning the ultimate prize? Do you think any team will ever be able to go undefeated? I thought many "laws" of averages, etc. were against it and it's still amazing and I'm proud that the team went all regular season without a loss. Hang in there and that's what next season is for...another chance to win the Super Bowl - we don't care about any other regular season loss! GO PATS in '08!!!!
      Marc - Kennesaw, GA
A:   Thanks so much. You know anything is possible in this business. I know that it was not easy going undefeated but it was fun. All we can do is come back stronger next year.
Q:   Vince. Thank you for playing a great 18 -1 season despite the painful loss at the end. You played hard and gave your fans a good year. Rest up ! - Chrisitne D.
      Christine D. - Franklin, Ma
A:   Thanks I appreciate the support especially from my neighborhood.
Q:   Vince - I would like to congratulate you on the great season, go get'em next year. I think it is nice that you take the time to respond to all of these questions, even the ones which aren't very flattering. I truthfully think you shouldn't even dignify the rude comments with answers. I would be curious to see if these same people who speak poorly of you contribute as much to the community as you do, with all the charitable work you do. In addition I have season tix to the C's and have had the opportunity to see you hanging out with your family as well as your friends and I get the feeling you are a genuinely good guy. I find it hard to believe that anyone who knows the whole Vince Wilfork story would take the time to write poorly of you. Take care, John
      John - Wrentham, MA
A:   Thank you for your words of encouragement. I just try to do me and be me. Some people have problems with their own life and feel the need to vent on someone. It is fine I am confident in what I do and who I am and I just try to be the best me I can and no one is perfect but it is mistakes that help you become better.
Q:   well it more a statement then a question, it must be tough because my sons and myself have seen first hand, how you do for your family and friends. so it must be tough when people think they know you and they dont even know what you look like. for example when we have been out to eat with the families. so i guess i just want to tell you to keep being you and *&$@ all the neg...my kids still think your the best. and wanted me to leave this note. your friend from wareham.
      bigdaddy - wareham, ma
A:   No worries big guy. I it is life and you know life is never fair but it is fun :)
Q:   Hi Vince, I just wanted to congratulate you and your team on an amazing season. I know it may not have met all your expectations, but you guys had an unbelievable and historic run. I'm looking forward to next season, please tell all the guys to stay for a second go!!!
      Janice - , Massachusetts
A:   Thanks so much for the email. We just got to try to knock it out next year.
Q:   Vince, sorry about the loss, hey what are you going to do. Defense played great! Offense didn't come to play! Thanks for the great season!
      Joe R. - Medford, MA
A:   Thanks for the email. We win as a team and we loose as a team. And as a team we will come together next year and try to make it happen.
Q:   Congratulations on a great season and an enjoyable one once again. Other than winning the Super Bowl you can't ask for much more than what you and your teammates accomplished this year. It is tough to win 18 games in a row in any sport, especially with the competition level of athletes today. Enjoy your off season and cherish the moments you spend with your family. Stay in shape and then lets start looking forward to getting back to the playoffs next year. In my mind the ultimate goal is the playoffs and then trying your hardest to win every week from there. Once again you guys including Junior, Bruschi, and other veteran players gave us fans in New England something to be proud of. The Giants and Tom Coughlin deserve our congratulations.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   The Giants and their coaches came to play. My hats are off to them. We will just have to try again next year.
Q:   Hey Vince I was wondering if you are still good friends with the guys you played with in college at Miami and if its wierd going against your former teammates?
      Ryan - Miami, Fl
A:   Yes I love those guys they are always my family. It is fun going up against them. I think the best is when I go up against Willis. We have a lot of fun I just pray I do not hurt any of them.
Q:   Do you prefer the 4-3 defense that you played in at Miami or the 3-4 defense you play with the Pats?
      Jim - Leominster, MA
A:   I prefer the 4-3 but I am fine doing whatever my team chooses to do.
Q:   Vince, I admire the work you've done to fight Diabetes. It's bigger than any offensive lineman you'll ever face. On Saturday, March 1st, 2008 we'd love to have you as an honorary guest at our indoor cycling spin-a-thon to raise money for the American Diabetes Associaton... www.rideforjules.org Finally, beat the Giatns!
      Marty Miserandino - Peabody, MA
A:   Thank you so much. We all are fighting the same fight and I hope in the end we win. My draft day party is April 26 hope you can join us.
Q:   The things that you and your wife do for others are remarkable!!! Keep up the awesome work, we need more people like you guys!!! All of your boys and girls up here in Lowell can't wait til' Sunday so we can watch you guys bring us home another one!!! GOOD LUCK! We know you will make us proud!!!
      Stephen - Lowell, MA
A:   Thanks so much for the support. It makes me happy to know we are recognized for good sometime.
Q:   GREAT season - way to be "ever" as Jr puts. You ROCKED every game every play. How hard will you play in the PRO bowl and are you worried about injury?
      Chris C - Winchester, MA
A:   sorry to answer so late. But in probowl we don't go 100 percent so the risk of injury is less. You could always get hurt walking down the street so you got to just roll with it.
Q:   Vince, congrats on everything. I was wondering if you keep in touch with coach Berger at all? I also wondered what you thought about his 1 year stint with the chiefs. I can't believe he bailed on us again! Hope all is well! Dan
      Dan - Boynton Beach, FL
A:   Hey Berger is Berger I love him to death regardless. But I haven't talked to him in a while. I wish him well.
Q:   Hey Vince I been following you since freshman year at the "U" do you think you going to come back and help the "U" and randy shannon get back on top maybe work with marcus fortson?
      Hassan - IRAQ, IRAQ
A:   I try to keep in touch with Shannon and the other coaches. I am actually going to watch their spring game in a couple of weeks. I am very proud of coach shamrock.
Q:   Hi Vince, I just wanted to congratulate you and the team for such a great season. Congrats on the Probowl. I was honored to meet you and your family a couple of years ago. I was the party planner who planned Ty Warren's little girls birthday party. You have such a charming....and very entertaining little girl! Your wife Bianca is an amazing lady. I was thrilled to have met them. Best of luck this weekend at the big game. Go Pats!
      Michelle Schofield - Millis, MA
A:   I remember the party it was great. My daughter loved it. As a matter of fact I should have you do a birthday party for her next year. My wife and I thought it was so cute.
Q:   Hey Vince! I just wanted to know how you and the team are taking all the bad things said about you and the team. I'm a huge Patriots fan because I was born in Boston.
      colin threlkeld - memphis, tennessee
A:   It is the nature of the this line of work and you have to be willing to take the good with the bad. Thanks.
Q:   Not really a question just a pep talk.. With fame and fortune on and of the field comes people who say disrespectful and hurtful things because of jealousy and the fact you probably spanked there teams QB or RB on the field. Hang in there because your one of the best I've ever seen on the field and New England sloves you.. Kick some butt this sunday and send Ellie to school.. his confidence levels way to high right now.. I can see it now.. first series for Ny you plow through your double coverage and you say to Ellie after you knock him to the ground.. "welcome to the Superbowl.. LOLOL good luck man..
      Greg Daudelin - Portsmouth, NH
A:   LOL Nice reading your comments. I greatly appreciate them. I just roll with the punches and keep moving forward. Life is too short. After loosing my parents I worry about how I can make the most out of my life with my family for however long God blesses me with breath.
Q:   I feel bad that you gotten fined this year. I think some of them were unwarranted. especially the last one against San Deigo.
      Chuck Haynes - Woburn, Ma
A:   Thanks for the email. I feel bad about them to. But what can you do. It makes it tough especially when you are out there trying to do your job and then you have to worry about getting fined.
Q:   Hi Vince: Congratulations on making it to the Super Bowl and being picked for the Pro Bowl! You look great this season! I have to say that I disagree with all this dirty player name calling. You are an awesome player! Question: How hard is it to keep your family life on a normal playing ground? You seem so grounded and I'm sure it must be hard to raise children in your profession to be as grounded as you are?
      Karen - Norwood, MA
A:   It is very hard to raise the kids in this line of work. My son deals with a lot at school from kids asking for autograph and even saying negative things about me and my team. I just try to keep my kids humble and aware and it has worked so far.
Q:   Just a quick comment - great article in the Boston Globe today (1/29/08) about you and your lovely wife. Great to see a little bit into the other side of you. A monster on the field...a teddy bear off...
      Peter C. - Cambridge, MA
A:   LOL Yes my wife often calls me a gentle giant. She brings out the best in me. Thanks so much for the email.
Q:   Who is your all-time favorite Dt at the U? What former canes do you workout with at the U?
Lou of M - Miami, Fl
A:   My favorite D tackle would be Jerome Brown Kortez Kennedy and Russell Maryland. I don't get a chance to work out at the U often because of my schedule but I love to work out with my boy Jon Vilma.
Q:   First of all, God bless you and Bianca for setting a wonderful example of marriage. It takes teamwork and love to have a great marriage. I would say that you are setting a wonderful example for your colleagues in the NFL and for society. Thank you. Vince, your talent on the field is 2nd to the talent you bring to the community and your marriage.. That is tough to say because I think you are the best Nose Tackle in the NFL.. but I digress. My question: So many questions for you. I will keep it to a few. What keeps your "fire burning" to be the best in the NFL? Do you set new goals every year? How do avoid being satisfied (humble pie)? Do the LB's take care of the Dlineman like Brady does for his Line?
      Tim Peterson - Bridgewater, MA
A:   I set goals for myself every year as far as football goes. I love playing football and that is what keeps the fire burning. If there comes a point in my life where the fire goes out I will retire. I enjoy the paychecks but I love the game. Thank you for all of the wonderful comments.
Q:   Hey Vince, has your draft day celebration sold out, it was on the website 2 days ago now it is gone
      Paul Hebert - Manchester, NH
A:   We are selling tickets now but you have to get them fast we expect them to sell out soon. They are on sale now at pinzbowl.com
Q:   Hey Vince Big congrats on the superbowl and the probowl. I was at the U while you were there and so fired up when you went to the Pats that I immediately sought a Wilfork jersey. The only one I could find was a #74 on ebay so I bought it, but I'd like to get a legitimate #75. The only problem is I can't find it on the Pats website. Any suggestions. Thanks.
      Dan - Roxbury, MA
A:   I actually sell the jersey on this site. The number 74 was a mistake reebok made my rookie year. I have never had the number 74 in my life. You can also go to reebok.com and order from there and the proshop sells them as well.
Q:   hey vince just want to say congrations on the run you guys are on....all we got is one left! I read the article in the Boston Globe about you today and your wife Bianca, and i was just wondering what she did for you to get you to slim down a little bit and what your workout routine was like this past offseason. Good Luck on Sunday!! Ill be watching mike esposito
      mike esposito - danvers, ma
A:   LOL she kicked my ass is what she did. She bought a book called the abs diet and she read it over and over again and explained to me that if I didn't get rid of the fat around my belly that I would be visiting my parents soon in heaven. She made it clear that my health was at risk carrying so much weight in my stomach and she got up with me every morning and pushed me to work out and do what I was supose to do,
Q:   What are your thoughts on all of the foolish questions that the media asks on media day? You guys put up with a lot!
      Derek Foss - Manchester, NH
A:   They are just doing their job. LOL They do ask some crazy questions though.
Q:   I enjoy watching you and the other guys on the D line play. Seems like an unappreciated job. I am curious about your particular job focus. Do you think about stopping the run first and getting to the QB second? Vice versa? Just looking for the ball holder? Thanks and good luck this coming Sunday.
      Richard - Carlisle, MA
A:   The first thing I think about is stopping the run. If I have an opening to get to the QB then I will take it as long as the run is covered.
Q:   First of all, thank you for sharing pictures of your children, they are beautiful. You and your wife are truly blessed. I just wonder, and I do every weekend when I watch you all play, how the heck you move so fast!!?
Jenna Ventola - Cape Cod, MA
A:   LOL I always work on my conditioning and my technique which helps me out a lot.
Q:   Hey vince it's sam again. I mailed you letter to go to the stadium about me and how I think you're awsome yet you haven't answered yet, i don't think you ever got it, any way I want to buy the autographed jersey from you but I want wear it too without getting the autograph ruined. can i buy the jersey and get an autographed picture instead?
      sam york - Marblhead, MA
A:   Yes you can. If you choose to do that just send a note that that is what you want to do with the check. I apologize for taking so long to answer your question too.
Q:   Sup Vince! you are massive (in a good way) what is your workout routine?
      sam york - Marblhead, MA
A:   The main thing I focus on is my conditioning. I do a lot of running in the off season and mix it up with lifting weights.
Q:   Greetings Vince, I just wanted to let you know that you (and the Pats) have a huge fan here in PA. I come up to camp every summer, watch every game on my direct TV, My entire basement is my Pats shrine and I watch all the Pats news on FSN and Sports desk every night. I'm flying up to New England to watch the SB there and ( hopefully) attend the Parade in Boston. I'm so proud of all of you. Have a great game in Glendale. :)
      Marci E. - Lansdale, PA
A:   My wife's family is actually from PA and I believe I have relatives there as well. Thanks so much for the support.
Q:   what was one of your most challenging moments playing in the NFL
      terence mcmahon - sandwich, ma
A:   To be honest with you I think my most challenging moment is what I have dealt with this year. I have had a great season and have been getting a lot of credit that I am greatful for including the probowl vote. But with that good has come a lot of bad. Increased fines, being called a dirty nasty player. I even get emails on this site with people wishing me a career ending injury. Plus a lot of fines. I think that this has been the toughest thing for me.
Q:   you are pathetic
      - ,
A:   Thank you for you comment. I wish you well in life God Bless you and your family.
Q:   Hi Vince! Congrats on making it back to the Super Bowl! How different will this trip be than 3 years ago for you? Are you looking forward to media day?
      Matt L - Boston, MA
A:   I am so greatful to be able to attend superbowl again this year. I think that it is amazing that some players go their entire career and do not get one opportunity and here I am getting 2.
Q:   Hey Vince, I tried to read through all your past posts so I apologize if I am repeating something. We all know you "fell" in the draft. I for one am extremely grateful you did and came to New England. But how did you feel? As you watched others taken ahead of you what was running through your head? And looking back now, how do you feel about that day? Thanks Vince, best of luck in the playoffs!
      John - Uncasville, CT
A:   Man that was a bad feeling. My wife and I were sitting there like what the hell is going on... but it all worked out really well for me and I am grateful.
Q:   Hi Vince, i just want to congratulate you and the team for a wonderful season. Because of you I got to see my sister and my nephews from Wisconsin. My nephew Tim from Wisconsin emails you. He brags about you and Bianca. I want to thank you for the jerseys you sent my grandchildren. They wear them every game. Good luck in the pro bowl and the play offs. Again thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
      rosemary spearin - taunton, ma
A:   They are wonderful people and we are blessed to have them as friends.
Q:   In the playoffs do the emotions run higher, and do players naturally try harder?
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Oh yes. During playoffs it is all or nothing and you have to give it all you got if you get relaxed then you may be going home.
Q:   Hey Vince, Congrats to you and the rest of the team, 16-0! No one deserves it more than you guys and I feel honored to be a fan of such a talented football team. Congrats on the probowl as well. You are my Fiance's favorite player, and he was very excited to see you chosen, you earned it! Good luck in a couple weeks, you guys got the toughest 3 ahead of you, 16-0 and 3 to go. GO PATS!
      Meghan M - Kennebunk, ME
A:   thank you so much I appreciate the support,
Q:   Congratulations on making it to the Pro Bowl and the perfect season-good luck in the playoffs and wishing you and your family a Happy & Healthy New Year. Hi Bianca!!
Tim, Joey & Kathy Daigneault - Burlington, WI
A:   Thanks buddies you guys are always there to support me and I appreciate that more than you will ever know. Thanks for always thinking about me during the holidays and my birthday it is nice to know someone thinks about you. B says hello.
Q:   In the December 29'th game I noticed you seemed to stick your fingers at least toward, and possibly into the opening of a Giants players face mask. Thing like that, are they a heat of the moment thing, and if so, if accidental do you later apologize or is their a animosity between two players in other, subsequent games?
      Anthony Story - Plymouth, Indiana
A:   thank you for talking the time to word your question that way. I have received a number of questions about it that just assume I was trying to poke him in the eye. It was nothing more than them doing trash talking and in the heat of the moment I pointed my finger in his face. I did not make contact with his eye or anything like that. After that it was over, on the field emotions are high there were several bumps amongst players and trash talking the whole game. It was one of the biggest games of the season and we all had a lot of emotion in the game. When things like that happen it is all heat of the moment and once the moment is gone it is over. There are no hard feelings and I really think the commentators did a great job of blowing it up. When the game was over we all said our byes and that was that.
Q:   Hope you and Your teammates had a wonderful Chrstmas. Have a Happy and Peaceful New Year. Also, I give you a lot of credit for responding to all the posts on here. Even the ones that personally attack you. I can't believe someone at this time of year would actually bring your family issues into this forum. In my mind the things you do outside of football show the kind of person you really are. We all have family issues in life and it should not be a public thing.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Thanks have a happy Holiday season as well.
Q:   hye this is jordan salazar im from santaluces high school i play football and i would like to no how u became a better player. I also had coach berger as a coach and he nows what he is talkin about. and good luck on ur super bowl ring.
      Jordan Salazar - Lantana, Fl
A:   I just focused hard and stayed dedicated. I also make sure I am a good person not just a good football player. You can be the best player in the league but if you are not a good person then none of that matters.
Q:   hey vince, congradulations on the pro bowl spot!!! Good luck this week in Miami!!!
      matt - boston, ma
A:   Thank you I truly appreciate that.
Q:   Hey Vince. Congratulations on getting voted into the pro bowl. No one deserves it more!
      Ann - Stamford, CT
A:   Thanks so much for the support. My family and I are very greatful.
Q:   Congratulations to you and your teammates. We are finally getting the recognition that the team deserves. Keep up the hard work and bring another championship home to New Engalnd. Also, can you do the hula dance?
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   LOL I am sure I will learn in HAWAII. Thanks man.
Q:   Hey Vince just wanted to congratulate you on your first pro bowl selection. Good luck for the rest of the season and bring the lombardi trophy back where it belongs!
      Ben - Dudley, MA
A:   Thanks so much. You know how it goes one game at a time here.
Q:   ALOHA!!!!!!
      W. Stewart - W CHESTERFLD, nh
A:   Aloha:)
Q:    WE ARE ALL HAPPY BACK HOME THAT YOU MADE IT TO THE TOP! WHY DID YOU LEAVE YOUR FAMILY BEHIND? I KNOW IF I WAS AN NFL PLAYER MY BOTHER WOULD'NT BE LIVING IN SAME HOOD WE GREW UP IN?
GOOSE MAN - boynton beach, FLORIDA
A:   Thanks for the first part I guess. As far as my brother goes.... I didn't leave my brother behind. I can not live someone else's life for them. Listen my brother chooses to live where we grew up. You didn't even leave your name so I can know who this is. Obviously you have no clue about my life or my brothers.
Q:   What is your opinion on the steroid scandal in Baseball? How would you feel if you were beat for a position on a team and then find out someone has that kind of advantage? ALso, do these guys even know for sure the long term effects of these drugs?
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   David I don't know what these guys know or what they are doing. It would probably bother me if I was beat out of a position by someone who had some type of advantage but this is the way life is. I personally would not do those things.
Q:   Vince, You are and will go down as one of the greatest D-lineman in Pats history. I loved when you busted the deep play against Pitt. You were in Ben's Face in a millisecond. I think this team can go as far as the D-line takes em. One game at a time ! My 11 yr old son is going to his first game agianst Miami. Way up in the Sky level seats but at least he is there and can see you with his binoculars. He is a big kid and looks good in your Jersey. What is your most impressive feat personally in Football ? P.S. thank you so much for all you do for the less fortunate ! I donate alot of timing coaching kids rec sports and I love how it makes my heart sing. Thanks - Great site !!!!!
      Bob Henrique - Dighton, MA
A:   Thanks so much. it really does make you feel good about yourself when you do things from the heart. There is a lot of things my wife and I do for people but we do not do them so that the media will notice or things like that we do them because that is what is right.
Q:   O's Not Zeros(for my e-mail) Hey Vince, I love the Pats, and I have for a long time, even though im 15. I just wanted say Congrats on the Pursuit of Perfection, i know you guys will make it all the way. I think with the team you have now, yall will have a 3-peat. HaHa I bet my friend about 3-strait and if you guys do it, he will be a Boston fan for life! lol. Anyways I know the Pats dont run much, but why is Maroney slumpin this year. From the looks of me and my friends, he dont run hard. So could you tell him to RUN HARD! otherwise Pick up McFadden in the next draft. Laurence is my boy too. And I know the O-line can block because that same O-line helped Corey Dillon have a 1600 yard season in 04-05. Why dont the Pats run the ball more???
Daniel Fober - Las Vegas, NV
A:   Well Daniel we only have one marooney and we have a ton of receivers. Marooney is doing alright and he is a asset to our team. But we have a ton of receivers so that is probably why we don't run as much as we have in the past. Tell your friend he is going to enjoy being a boston fan.
Q:   Hey Vince, I just wanted to let you know that I'm proud of you guys this year. I like that hit you put on Ben on sunday. That was a good one. But overall, Keep up the good work and continue to do what you do. Good Luck the rest of the season, my friend. Me and my dad will be cheering you on, all the way down here in texas. Go PATS!
Henry Lopez - San Antoino, Texas
A:   Alright Henry down in texas. Thanks so much for the support,
Q:   The talking heads on ESPN had great things to say about you and your pregame interview. Said that you were a class act! Well, we knew that! Loved the shopping trip with the family, the Albino Buck hunt..... It is great when the local TV channels show us loyals what a real family man and comedian you are.
      W. Stewart - West Chesterfield, N.H.
A:   Thanks so much for the info. I still havent seen the one from the Bass Proshop. Most of the time we end up hearing how things turned out instead of actually seeing it. But Thanks again and happy holidays.
Q:   Hi Vince, First I would like to tell you that you have fans of every age. :-D My daughters have cheered on a football field since they were both 5 and have been following football with a passion since then. (they are now 20 and 24) I have never seen my younger daughter so impressed with one single player as she is by you. My question would be......why can't I find a football jersey of yours in size small? lol Seriously, this was her top item on her Christmas list. Any idea where to get one? Again, you do a tremendous job........and you are adored by many!!! You're a pleasure to watch and have made our family football time so enjoyable.
      Beth - Bridgewater, MA
A:   You are able to go to the store here on the website and order from here. You can also go to Reebok.com they do not have them already made but you can do the custom orders and they turn out great. Tell your daughter thanks for putting me on her christmas list. take care.
Q:   Vince, Glad to see Troy is back today!!! Sure hope Rosey is gonna be O.K. He will be missed! Love our Fab 5!!!!
      W. Stewart - W CHESTERFLD, N.H.
A:   Thanks so much. It is great to see Troy around and it will be hard without Rosie he is a vital part of our team.
Q:   My Thoughts and prayers go out to the Taylors immediate family and his extended family of friend. I hope people can start doing the right thing and become more aware of the dangers our youth face everyday, especially in the inner cities. I believe the best way to end this is to volunteer some time with disadvantaged youth and see first hand the risks associated with growing up in the inner city. Adults need to start showing the kids we care and by ignoring the problems it will never go away.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Thank you. It is very hard to loose a friend like that. He will be missed but NEVER forgotten.
Q:   Vince, great job on Totaly Patriots Sun. It was nice for us fans to see what a great sence of humor you have!!! Keep Smiling!
      W. Stewart - West Chesterfield, N.H.
A:   Thanks so much. I just try to be me :)
Q:   Hey Vince! Did you know that we've created a dance for you? It's called "The Wilfork" and we do it EVERYWHERE!!! You want us to teach you?
      Uncle Andy - Boston, MA
A:   yeah you have to put it on youtube.com and email it to me at fans@vincewilfork75.com I would love to see it.
Q:   I very much look forward to hearing you on WZLX. Are you ever going to invite Kevin and Pete over? Are you afraid they will never leave? ha ha ha!!! Stay healthy!
Julie La Bonte - Concord , MA
A:   LOL nah I like those guys they can hang with me anytime.
Q:   Hey Vince, just asking if the crowd noise situation in Foxboro has improved from last year. Also, I looked it up and saw you were leading all defensive tackles in Pro Bowl voting with 100,032 votes!
      matt - Boston, MA
A:   Thanks I was but I think Haynesworth who is a great guy in our position is leading now. I just go out and play that is all I can do. Some games the crowd is all over it and others we are kind of winning by a lot and I think that affects it.
Q:   Hope you enjoyed the Celts game. Man, I know it's only one game, but they looked impressive!!! BTW how about those BC Eagles!!!!
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   I had a great time at the game the Celtics are off to a great start. I am rooting for BC until they play Miami. LOL
Q:    Vince, We just want to wish you a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" 11-4-07~~ and let everyone know to vote for you to get in the Pro Bowl. You deserve it! Check your mailbox! Enjoy your birthday~~
Tim, Joey, Kathy - Burlington, WI
A:   Thanks Buddy I did and thank you guys so much for all of your support and love. I know I got one family of fans in Greenbay.
Q:   Vince, I am trying to set up a Jimmy Fund fundaiser and was wondering if any of you guys play cribbage on the team? I know some of the Red Sox players have picked up the game. I can provide you with more details on my plan if you need them.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   I have never heard of that before.
Q:   Hi Vince, This is more of a thank you. My name is Rick Powers. I have been living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 16 years old I'm 50 now. I have been through alot because of this condition. I have lost family and friends to this horrible condition. I have resigned myself to the fact that this will take my life some day too. But there is hope. Through the efforts of people like you maybe I'll live long enough to be cured. But 34 years is a long time to be ill. So on behalf of all people with diabetes i thank you very much. GO PATS, GO RED SOX,GO BRUINS, GO CELTICS Rick
      Rick Powers - Quincy, Ma
A:   Thank you for the note. It is appreciation like that that makes me continue. Make sure I have your email address so that way I can keep you updated on next years draft day fundraiser. Email me at fans@vincewilfork75.com

Q:   I was wondering what your workout routine is like. Do you run a lot? Weights a lot? What do you do? It's amazing that you are so big and so fast. Brady may be cool and all, but on Sunday I'm always rocking your jersey :-D
      Ann - Stamford, CT
A:   Thanks I am glad you rock the 75 lol. I do a lot of running and conditioning. I life weights every other day but I mainly work on my conditioning.
Q:   Dear Vince, You rock!
      Scott Lafleur - Whitinsville, MA
A:   Thanks man I appreciate that. keep showing love it goes a long way.
Q:   Another dominating performance in the heat at Foxboro. Must be tough to stay Hydrated out there, especially when I was just sitting in my seat sweating to death. Hope D’Aundre had a wonderful B'day mine is on the 23rd also, just a little bit older(41). Saw it on the message board at the game. Keep up the hard work and tell Bianca to get you some more practice on the dance floor.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Thanks so much.
Q:   Man, this is appearing that it's going to be a fun football season season in this part of the country. The offense is in Mid-Season form. The defense is a force to be reckoned with. I never thought with the salary cap restrictions that you guys could improve, but the hard work of Scott and Bill seems to pay off every year. How do you guys keep your focus when the victories appear to come so easy? Also, forget your Hurricanes, GO EAGLES!!!!!!! I don't want to jinx anything but, 2 major bowls played by 2 New England football teams within a month possibility!!! I will be at the Buffalo game rooting you guys on!!! Front row endzone on the lighthouse side.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Thanks man. We have to stay focused and keep looking for ways to improve. I always say we look good on paper but how to we perform. So far so good but we ca always improve.
Q:   quick question. Do you really have a myspace? Because i found one that said it was you. The URL is myspace.com/vincewilfork. I don't want to add it if it is some random person. Thanks!
      WeeMann - P-town, Maine
A:   No that is not my myspace page. I do not have a myspace page. My wife actually saw that page, it isn't a bad page but it isn't mine. The only thing I have is right here. www.vincewilfork75.com and fans can email me at fans@vincewilfork75.com Thanks
Q:   hey vince, i just wanted to say congratulations on losing the weight, i just wanted to say that do you think that this is the year you get recognized for the pro bowl? You and Ty Warren both should have made the pro bowl. Does a pro bowl matter to you? Thanks vince.
      Tyler G - , ME
A:   I wish I could tell you that Ty and I will make it to probowl but that is something neither one of us have control over. It would be great if both of us could make it. I would love to go and I encourage everyone to vote, but right now we are concentrating on who we play next.
Q:   Hey Vince. My name's Cody and i am 14 years old. I play football for deering highschool and im a starting corner.       Cody M - Portland, Maine
A:   Cody write me at fans@vincewilfork75.com your questions are kind of long and if you email me I can answer them better.
Q:   The Buffalo Bills sustained a serious injury to Kevin Everett and he needs everyones prayers for a speedy recovery. It sounds serious and as a fan of the Patriots and most importantly the NFL my prayers go out to him. I had a herniated cervical disc in my neck, which I had surgery on and now can't attend any Patriot games, due to the concern of someone jumping on me. I have tickets n the front row of the end zone and get concerned when I see the packer players jumping in the stands. Until this is banned by the NFL I need to be concerned about a player doing this and having someone behind me jump on top of me and reinjure my neck.
      David Bowen - Plymouth, MA
A:   Kevin Everett and I played together at the University of Miami he is in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery and a functional life. I pray for him everyday.
Q:   Hey Vince! How's everything? I know I'm all late but I didn't know you had your own website un
